Description:
Degelman Industries LP is searching for an individual to join our Service team as a Summer Student. Degelman Industries LP is a vibrant company in the agricultural manufacturing industry known for leading innovation and quality products.
Reports to: Service Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assist Service and R&D technicians with day-to-day tasks
- Ensure all company vehicles are up to company standards
- Maintain a clean yard and shop space
- Organize of tools and parts
- Complete daily safety protocol paperwork
- Preparation for welding & cutting operations
- Operation of forklift
Working Conditions:
- Work independently or in a team environment.
- Full-Time Summer Term Position. Standard hours of work will be Monday – Friday 8:00 – 4:30 (40 hours / week)
- Must be flexible to meet the needs of the job.
Requirements:
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of shop practices and basic hand tool skills
- Must hold a valid drivers license
- Agricultural experience considered an asset
- Practice safe working habits and follow safety policies
