Standard Extra Long Hitch Pole

Built with modern high-horsepower tractors in mind, the Signature 7250 comes standard with an extra-long 152" hitch pole. With our unique design, pivot of the hitch has moved forward a substantial amount.  The grille to drawbar pin distance is the same as the older 7200 with XL pole.Compared to a traditional 144" hitch, the extended design improves visibility behind the tractor, helping operators better monitor rock flow and picking performance.

The innovative hitch system also allows the transport pole to be repositioned during operation, delivering added flexibility and improved field efficiency.

Large Stone Capacity

With a massive 28 inches of clearance between the paddle assembly and the grill, large stones are easily picked. These machines are designed to provide relentless heavy stone work day in and day out.

Superior Rock and Soil Separation

Degelman rock pickers are designed to pick stones quickly, efficiently, and keep soil collection to a minimum. The geometry between the reel and grill is designed so that the paddle makes the first contact, lifts and spins the stone onto the grill, further separating the rock from the soil.

The unique interlaced grill and paddle teeth drop the dirt back onto the field. Even the hopper box makes use of grated spring bar strapping to keep rocks in and dirt out.

Precision Grill Control

The wheel placement created between the tractor hitch and the offset tires provides precise reactive control over grill depth, exceptionally important when working in soft and/or wet field conditions.

Inspired by 60+ Years of Relentless Design

Every component of the Signature 7250 is engineered around one simple reality: rock picking is hard on equipment.

The constant impact of heavy stones places tremendous loads on the machine, demanding a structure that is both exceptionally strong and built to endure. At the core of the Signature 7250 is a heavy-duty rectangular frame designed to carry the weight of the grill and reel assemblies while withstanding the punishing forces of daily operation.

Reinforced inside corners, strengthened with heavy angle plates, tie the frame together at key load-bearing points to maximize rigidity and durability. The result is a machine built to deliver dependable performance season after season, even in the toughest conditions.

Taller Hopper Sides for Improved Retention

The Signature 7250 features taller hopper sides designed to keep more rocks where they belong—in the hopper.

Whether working across rough terrain, navigating headlands, or tackling heavy rock concentrations, the increased sidewall height helps prevent rocks from bouncing or spilling out during operation. The result is cleaner fields, less material loss, and fewer interruptions caused by dropped rocks.

Built to Separate. Designed to Last.

The Signature 7250's heavy-duty grill is built from solid round C1045 steel shafts for exceptional strength and impact resistance. Its optimized tooth spacing, engineered curves, and round-profile design promote smooth material flow and efficient rock separation while minimizing plugging.

Every third tooth is welded to the frame to help clear lodged rocks, keeping material moving and reducing downtime. The result is cleaner fields, fewer interruptions, and dependable performance season after season.

Excavator Tips

From loose dirt and crushed rock, to concrete and abrasive mining applications - the Degelman excavator tips are world renowned for high quality steel backhoe teeth. These cast steel grill tips provide the ultimate protection against high impact and high abrasion. The solid grill shafts are precisely milled to accept these teeth, and the tips are easily replaced by removing a simple roll pin.

Advanced Spring Reel Design

The Signature 7250 features a heavy-duty reel spring assembly engineered to perform under the toughest picking conditions. Designed to flex under heavy loads and smoothly return to position, the system helps protect the reel from impact while maintaining consistent picking performance.

At the heart of the design is Degelman's exclusive compression spring system—a proven solution refined over years of field testing. Unlike conventional extension springs, the compression design delivers greater durability, improved reliability, and longer service life in demanding applications.

A urethane damping puck works alongside the spring assembly to absorb vibration and reduce backlash as the reel paddle returns to position, resulting in smoother operation and reduced component stress.

To further enhance durability, the spring holder incorporates a reinforced bent-plate design that significantly increases structural strength and resistance to fatigue.

Standard 550/45R22.5 Flotation Tires

The Signature 7250 comes standard with large 550/45R22.5 flotation tires designed to handle the substantial weight of a fully loaded hopper while minimizing impact on the field.

Their wide footprint distributes the machine's weight over a larger surface area, reducing ground pressure and helping prevent rutting and soil compaction. This improved flotation allows the rock picker to travel more confidently through softer field conditions while maintaining stability under heavy loads.

The large-diameter design also helps the machine roll more smoothly over uneven terrain, reducing shock loads to the frame and improving overall ride quality. Whether navigating rough fields, crossing low spots, or transporting a full load of rocks, the flotation tires contribute to more consistent performance, reduced field damage, and improved operator confidence.

Extra Plates, Extra Welds, Extra Strong

Backing into a rock pile with a weighted rock picker can damage key components. The hydraulic hose cover is welded to the box frame to be even stronger in a key crush point. The back of the hopper box is constructed of double walled formed steel as it receives heavy pounding by rocks in the hopper and the area most likely to become damaged.

In locations where crush damage and daily wear are more likely, we have reinforced these areas to ensure you have years of trouble free operation. For example, the grill side plates have additional reinforcement plates added to counter head-on damage.
