Purpose of the Job:

• To assemble a variety of different products associated with agriculture manufacturing under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to read drawings, blueprints and manuals for the purpose of assembling product.
• Must be capable of operating hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Document final quality control inspections.
• Must meet or exceed production standards.

Other duties and responsibilities:

• Forklift operation.
• Over head crane operation.
• Test equipment.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Possess knowledge of agricultural equipment.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to use precision-measuring tools accurately.
• Must maintain respect and a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to meet Degelman Industries standards.

Working Conditions:

• Work in a team environment.
• Assemble and alignment of frames and components.
• This position requires outdoor work.
• This position requires shift work.
• Relevant training will be provided.
