Degelman Industries LP is looking for an individual to join our team as an Outside Shipper/Receiver. Degelman Industries designs and manufactures equipment known for quality and respected by farmers for over 60 years.
Successful candidates will be responsible to work in teams for loading and unloading Degelman farm equipment and parts onto open deck trailers and containers, using large capacity outdoor forklifts and cranes. Other responsibilities will include verification and count accuracy of both inbound and outbound shipments of parts and equipment, assisting in counting inventory as required, complete bills of lading, document receipts, withdrawals, returned goods and location transfers, and keeping work areas and equipment clean and in order at all times. Must have the ability to perform work related duties in a safe and competent manner in adverse (extreme heat/cold and slippery conditions), and other duties as required.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience loading and unloading raw materials, crates, pallets and assembled farm equipment. Must be able to operate heavy equipment such as large yard forklifts and farm tractors. A knowledge of agricultural equipment would be an asset. Must have good communication skills and the ability to anticipate and respond to change. Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions.
