Degelman Industries LP is looking for an individual to join our team as a Shotblast Operator. Purpose of the Job:

• Operate a blast booth to clean fabricated steel components prior to painting.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

• Operate the blast booth at a rate that allows the production line to maintain throughput.
• Inspect and prepare fabricated components prior to painting.
• Hang fabricated components in a manner that allows the operator to blast efficiently and have access to all areas.

Other duties and responsibilities:

• Forklift operation.
• Hanging and removing parts from the assembly line.
• Applying decals chipping, caulking and assembling product.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must be familiar with measuring and maintaining blast profile.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and direction.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• This position requires shift work.
• This position requires the wearing of protective breathing apparel, protective mask and headgear and the operation of a blasting gun dispersing pressures of up to 100 ft lbs.
• Relevant training will be provided.
